excelsa super sidera,
qui te creavit provide,
lactas sacrato ubere.

Quod Eva tristis abstulit,

"O Gloriosa Domina" adalah bagian kedua dari Hymne Quem terra, pontus, aethera yang dikomposisi-kan oleh Uskup Poitiers, Venantius Fortunatus (530-609).

Himne ini sendiri merupakan hymne pujian kepada Bunda Maria yang biasa dipakai dalam ibadat harian (brevir/doa offisi).

Lebih lanjut, himne ini adalah kesukaan St. Antonius dari Padua. Dikatakan, bahwa ia sering mendengar ibunya menyanyikan hymne ini untuknya sejak ia masih bayi, dan ia menyukainya, menyanyikannya seumur hidupnya, bahkan juga menyanyikannya pada saat kematiannya.
